In 2004, NMCDC began the development, construction, and management of affordable housing for low-income families in community. All of the units are set-aside for families at or below 50% of the area median income for the City of Memphis and Federal Government contracts which address the goal to provide affordable rental housing. NMCDC’s efforts to reuse vacant property, eliminate blight and assist in the redevelopment and revitalization of the neighbourhood. We will provide safe, affordable, and quality permanent rental housing for a neighbourhood in dire need. We will be able to meet the mission of developing more than just structures but creating homes that will contribute to the continued revitalization of our community.
